It was announced at the start of 2017 that a new artist had joined KAMIJO’s (vocalist of Versailles) record label, Chateau Agency. Today that artist was revealed to be SUI (翠), the former vocalist of the disbanded bands, Megaromania and Lin -the end of corruption world-.
It’s January 24 in Japan, and today is SUI’s birthday! So the singer is celebrating his special day by unveiling his new solo project, David. SUI has posted a short snippet of his debut song, aptly titled GENESIS to his new Twitter account. Its lyrics and music are written by SUI and produced by—yes, you guessed it—KAMIJO. You can give it a listen below.
Unfortunately, that’s just about the only information available at this time. Details, like release dates and recording members, are all forthcoming. However, as you saw in the video, he will have is first live somewhere in Tokyo on April 8. And, it was said on the official website that worldwide activities are planned in the future. We’re pretty excited about this news, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for more. Stay tuned!
