An official statement from PS Company has confirmed that guitarist Mikuru of RAVE unfortunately passed away on October 26, 2016 at 4.51am. It was announced back in July that he would be taking a break from activities indefinitely to recover from illness which is to remain undisclosed according to his wishes.
His funeral was held the following night with the attendance of close friends and family but there will also be a flower-laying ceremony at the DRUM Be-1 venue in Fukuoka and at the Shibuya ZEAL LINK in Tokyo on November 14.
The members won’t be at either of these two ceremonies but they have thanked those who have supported them and hope that their fans continue to do so as they keep Mikuru’s wishes in mind.
