Welcome back! We have the fifth edition of Discover JRock Bands in which we introduce you to new bands we find interesting. This time we have even more fresh out the oven and underground bands you may not have heard of; Roqudama Carta, Tokinokito and DIGIT.
Last month we covered Glamhaze (グラムヘイズ),KAVKA (カフカ) and Insanity Injection. If you missed out you can take a look back here. If you spot a new band you like, feel free to suggest your finding in the comment section below and we will try to include it in the upcoming editions.
Roqudama Carta (緑玉歌留多) is a solo project that produces “gothgressive” music, this word created by taking the words goth and progressive. Initial activities started way back in 2009, but he first started to release in 2011 with the “Raise the curtain” single and once more in 2014 with “Mothergoose Lateshow.” Until now, the releasing end seemed fairly quiet, but this year he released a new single “Grizzly red” which came out last month on Feburary 29. To top this off, he has recently signed to POPUNITED noir so expect more activities soon. Take a look at his recent single music video below and let us know what you think.

tokinokito
tokinokito (トキノキト) is a promising visual kei band who debuted last year with their first show at Shibuya REX in Tokyo on July 1, 2015.
The band consists of vocalist KATE , guitarist Ayumu, Drummer HALHI and bassist masahito. KATE and masahito are both former members of EATER and Kharin A.K. Their first single titled “kakokyuu usagi ni SOS” came out this month, and they also previously released a mini-album titled “Tsumi to Batsu no Toki ~die to live~” which was live limited, so it’s too bad for fans abroad!
