The visual kei airband, Golden Bomber, puts out yet another fantastic and humorous video for us all to enjoy! This time, they have taken their time to produce a music video for the song Yokubou no uta, a symphonic power metal song, released with the latest album No Music No Weapon from last summer.

Without a doubt, fan of the older kind of visual kei will feel at home, with the striking glam-rock inspired looks, more distinctly, who the members are portraying in this music video. Right off the bat, we see guitarist Yutaka take the role of everyone’s beloved Mana, drummer Kenji as Közi, vocalist Sho as the multitalented Gackt, all of them from the legendary band Malice Mizer. Bassist Jun takes another course and instead portrays Emiru from Lareine, from the Billet release.

During the course of the video, there are plenty more legendary visual kei references to take notice of, as the never-ending cast of a western blond girl, X-Japan‘s skyscraper hairstyle, Dir en grey‘s Cage, and other influential marks from the visual kei history.

We had a blast watching this video, and we think you will too! Also, please take your time and share other references that we left out, down below!

Random bypasser taking a stroll in the background, during the most serious scene in the music video. A discreet and hilarious joke put in by the band.
