As reported previously, GLAY has written Supernova Express 2016 for the Hokkaido Shinkansen, the super high speed train due to be ready in March. Check out the music video with all the members of GLAY jamming in a field and happily standing on a platform waiting for their train. GLAY Supernova Express 2016 which is on G4 IV is due this month on January 27.
Coming back to the trains, there is a big countdown till its operation. To tell you more about this new train line, it will be running from Aomori to Hokkaido in a straight link and they have also released an English version of the website for foreign fans to enjoy. We had a look at the cabins and were delighted to see the Gran-class looks more like the interior of a plane.

The “Gran-class” looks impressive. Look how comfortable it looks.

The First Class “Green” car. Looks good, it has soft head cushions.

The “Ordinary” class made us sad after we saw the Gran-class.
“Ordinary class: Providing a spacious cabin and interior carefully designed with user-friendliness in mind. Portions of the walls and ceilings are made using wood grain, and the aisle carpet is accented with a snowflake motif. The designs on all cabin blinds are inspired by Jomon period pottery patterns and Ainu patterns.”
No matter how many snowflakes they can print on the carpet or wood grain ceilings, they’ve made us underwhelmed by which cart we can afford. But hey! More reason for us to work harder to get onto the Gran-class. We hope GLAY are given some free rides for their hard-work at least!
