Sad news coming from the band VAASTU. As bassist SIORI underwent a surgery due to an eye retinal detachment, he has been forced to dismiss all upcoming live performances. In his current state, it looks like he won’t be able to walk or stand on his own for a long period of time. The band decided it would be for the best that SIORI switched to being a support bassist until he fully recovers from his surgery. Meanwhile another support bassist will be covering for SIORI presence in their live performances.

The single previously announced, to be released on September 2, has been postponed to November 11 due to this.
As a side note, their Part Time Lover one man live at Ikebukuro Cyber on September 17 will be free entry! No reservation will be required to attend this show. For those avid fans, there will be limited tickets for the price of 3000 yen that will grant you access to their soundcheck, a handshake and photograph session, of a maximum five photographs with the members.
