yazzmad Announces Disbandment & Their Last Release “Re:Halcyon”

yazzmad has released their very last mini-album The Strange Bloomer on October 7. Their final performance Forget-me-not will be on October 16 at Shinjuku Ruido K4 alongside visual kei band umbrella. This event will mark their official disbandment.

You may remember that their bassist Ryou left the band in April 2014 due to family reasons. The remaining three member have left a message below.

Thank you for always supporting yazzmad. Our final performance on October 16, 2015 will mark our disbandment.

Thank you for supporting us since our band formed five years ago.

After five years, I’m still a very clumsy and very awkward, but I was able to survive till the end. Thank you for the smiles, tears, a many memories. The time has come to take our separate paths, different to how I imagined.

It would be lying if I said that I’m not worried, but you know, there is always a ray of light in darkness. Let’s go ahead with our full force until the end, so when we can think about the past five years with a smile.

So until the end, let’s cry as much as you and laugh together.

I do not want to say that goodbye. It’s difficult because words “The end” are scary ,but we have to keep moving and some things are just meant to be left in the past.

It’s the voices that have been the reason to why I came to love the self I use to hate and I was able to look forward.

I’m not familiar with words “Thank you”, but let’s make our remaining time unforgeable.

It’s been a little less than two years since I joined yazzmad, but if you included the period when I supported we have been together a little longer than that.

There is only gratitude for the support and also the staff.

We decided to go our seperate ways, a decision which took many days to make.

The work of yazzmad will live on, and I feel this is music that you can listen and singalong to throughout your life.

Thank you so much bloomers, and please stay with us until the end.
