Composer Yasuharu Takanashi will start his second European tour in September 2026 under the title “The Battle for Glory”. Performing under his musical project “Far East Groove”, the composer will make his UK debut alongside shows in Finland, Poland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Spain.

Formed in 2024, Far East Groove previously embarked on a European tour in 2025 across Finland, Italy, and Spain. Aiming to be “the bridge between anime soundtrack and heavy metal”, the group’s lineup features vocalist Juno Luke, guitarist Nozomu Wakai (SIGH), bassist Jesper Anastasiadis (Turisas), violinist Tuomas Rounakari (ex-Korpiklaani), and drummer Tino Jäntti (Wolfheart).

Yasuharu Takanashi is a Japanese producer, composer, arranger, and keyboardist who has received the JASRAC International Award a total of eight times. Known worldwide for his extensive production of anime soundtracks, Takanashi’s resume includes music for Naruto, Gantz, Hell Girl, Fairy Tail, Shiki, Log Horizon, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-, to name just a few.
