In early January, vocalist Kagami from DEXCORE hinted at re-recording his solo music. Finally, on January 29, Kagami shared the exciting reveal of his first solo album, “Alone.”.

Kagami’s first solo album “Alone.” will release on his birthday, March 21, both on streaming and physically. Alongside the release, on the same day, Kagami will perform his first-ever solo acoustic set at Nagoya Music Bar Perch.

Most recognizable from DEXCORE, Kagami delivers gut-wrenching screams over heavy breakdowns as well as moving choruses with angelic clean vocals. This combination can be heard on DEXCORE’s latest album, WE WERE HERE. However, Kagami has also been active on YouTube for seven years, releasing solo music and covers.

Kagami’s solo music will now finally be released as a full cohesive project for fans to enjoy. His solo music features vocal production similar to DEXCORE with unique layered vocals with toned-down arrangements, predominantly featuring acoustic instrumentation. Take a look below to listen to the most recent song, Different Colors, released December 26 of last year.

The album artwork for “Alone.” was also revealed. It features a hazy photo of Kagami distorting with neutral colors, illustrative of the soft, emotional style of music.
