Into “THE ABYSS”

The concert coincides with the release of HYDE’s latest single, “THE ABYSS”. The title track is a sweeping ballad that highlights HYDE’s expressive vocals against a rich orchestral backdrop.

The release also includes an orchestral version of “LAST SONG”, a newly recorded version of the sole ballad from HYDE’s 2024 album “HYDE [INSIDE]”.

The Limited Edition of this single includes an M CARD containing the “THE ABYSS” music video and its behind-the-scenes documentary. The M CARD allows users to stream or download content via smartphone or PC using a QR code or URL with a PIN.

Upcoming tour “JEKYLL”

In 2025, HYDE completed the “HYDE [INSIDE] LIVE 2025 WORLD TOUR”, performing in 17 cities across 10 countries, including Japan. He will follow this with an orchestra tour in support of his upcoming album “JEKYLL”, scheduled for release next spring.

The tour opens on January 17 at the Kenshin Koriyama Cultural Center and will run from January through April 2026, spanning 12 cities across Japan for a total of 15 performances. An additional special concert featuring select orchestra members has been confirmed for Monday, May 25, in Vienna.

HYDE’s term as Austrian Tourism Ambassador, which began in January 2024, has also been extended by one year. The Vienna performance, held during his ambassadorship, will mark the first time a Japanese rock artist performs with a Viennese orchestra. This offers a unique cultural moment that highlights the musical heritage of Vienna and Austria for audiences in Japan and around the world.
