HYDE digitally released his recent album HYDE [INSIDE] on September 13, before the physical CD releases on October 16. Furthermore, the previously teased music video for the depressingly sad piano ballad titled LAST SONG is finally out!

The music video, filmed entirely in Austria, features a distraught HYDE as he is watched from all angles by a disturbing masquerade of people in eerie masks. It seems like HYDE against the world.

This unsettling atmosphere emphasizes his role as an outcast, a sentiment poignantly reflected in the song’s lyrics. While the verses express deep sorrow, the chorus offers a sense of hope—it conveys all the heart he has to give, an undeniably heavy heart. His heartfelt vocals and delicate piano may inspire listeners to sway back and forth to or conduct an imaginary orchestra.

However, as the song progresses, it takes a dark turn. HYDE’s uncontrollable laughter marks a descent into madness as the music reaches a grand climax. Visual elements like blood-stained clothing, pouring rain, dizzying camera angles, and slow-motion scenes set against a fairground backdrop amplify the drama and reflect the chaos within.
