Nagoya-based rock band “kein” drops their second major EP, delusional inflammation, on July 9. The five-track release follows last year’s major debut EP PARADOXON DOLORIS.
As with their previous EP, delusional inflammation features five all-new original tracks. These tracks showcase the musical growth of each member—Maco (vocals), Reo (guitar), Aie (guitar), Yuki (bass), and Sally (drums)—reflecting the refined artistry each brings from their work in bands such as “lynch.”, deadman, and 101A.
The EP will be available in two editions: a standard CD version, and a limited edition featuring a Blu-ray with the title track’s music video and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. While the full tracklist and cover art are still in production, preorders are now open. For more information, check out the music entry at the bottom of this post.
To promote the release, kein will launch a three-date tour under the same name, delusional inflammation. The tour hits Osaka on July 11, Nagoya on July 12, and Kawasaki on July 20. kein will also be holding in-store events at local Tower Records locations to promote the release.
