lynch. has announced, as part of the fourth act of their 10 act, “lynch. 20th ANNIVERSARY PROJECT”, that the band will release a retake album titled GREEDY DEAD SOULS / UNDERNEATH THE SKIN, on April 16.
The album is a deluxe four-disc set that compiles retakes of their indies work, and features a new song. Delving deeper, the retakes consist of their first album, greedy dead souls, on the first disc. Meanwhile, their first mini-album, underneath the skin, is featured as the second disc.
However, the yet-to-be-named third disc, is planned to contain a new song alongside retakes of coupling tracks, a live-limited track, and a bonus track. The examples provided are a grateful shit, stuck pain, STARZ, dizzy, and an unnamed bonus track from single enemy. The fourth disc is a Blu-ray featuring a yet-to-be revealed music video and its making-of.
Last year saw lynch. launch their lynch. 20th ANNIVERSARY PROJECT consisting of 10 acts in total. The two acts that were instantly announced back in 2024, was the first act titled [XX]act:1 20th Anniversary Premium Live “THE IDEAL”, hosting a one-man performance at Zepp Nagoya on December 29. The second act, titled [XX]act:2 NACK5 “BEAT SHUFFLE” Presents lynch. 2025 -The Beginning-, consisted of a lynch. radio show special.
What followed was the third, fourth, and fifth acts. The third act is a three show fan-club only tour titled [XX] act:3 TOUR’25 -ULTIMA- [SHADOWS ONLY]. The fourth act is their retake album GREEDY DEAD SOULS / UNDERNEATH THE SKIN. Then the fifth is another tour with dates in April, May, and June titled [XX]act:5 ‘”TOUR’25 UNDERNEATH THE GREED”.
