On June 1, Luv PARADE releases their debut original mini-album, JOKER. Kicking things off with a bang, the band unveiled the music video for TONIGHT, TONIGHT, TONIGHT on May 27. As the third track on the mini-album, this offers a thrilling preview of what’s to come.
Meet the members of Luv PARADE—support vocalist and lyricist TAKA, guitarist and composer Karyu, bassist ZERO, who also designs the artwork for Luv PARADE, and drummer TSUKASA.
Initially a cover band, Luv PARADE started performing songs from D’ESPAIRSRAY, of which Karyu, ZERO, and TSUKASA are original members. Surprisingly, the band also covered artists such as Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Björk, and Celine Dion.
On September 9, 2023, the anniversary of D’ESPAIRSRAY’s formation, Luv PARADE held a solo concert and released their first original song, NEW WORLD. With lyrics by TAKA and composition by Karyu, this song symbolized the band’s determination to reach new heights. Since then, the band has been united by the promise to create fully original songs for their fans.
To fulfill their promise, Luv PARADE announced the release of their first original mini-album, JOKER, dropping on June 1, 2024. This release kicks off the JOKER TOUR 2024, starting at “Shin-Yokohama NEW SIDE BEACH!!” and continuing through five venues. They will also hold in-store events to promote the album.
