YOSHIKI, the drummer of X Japan and THE LAST ROCKSTARS, has once again shown his steadfast dedication to humanitarian causes. To aid the victims of the recent earthquake in Taiwan that occurred on April 3, YOSHIKI donated 10 million yen to the Taiwanese Red Cross through his non-profit organization YOSHIKI FOUNDATION AMERICA.

YOSHIKI shared a heartfelt message to the fans and victims of the disaster:

I have performed many concerts in Taiwan. My heart hurts when I think about the feelings of all the fans and the victims of the disaster. I would like to express my deepest sympathies to everyone affected by this disaster. I pray that peaceful days will return as soon as possible.

The donation to the Taiwanese Red Cross is just one of many examples of YOSHIKI’s ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on the world. Through his foundation, he has contributed over 2 million dollars to various charitable causes, earning recognition as one of “Asia’s Top 30 Heroes of Philanthropy” by Forbes in 2019. Furthermore, his dedication to philanthropy was honored by the Japanese Government in 2021 with a prestigious Medal of Honor.
