Kouki and HIZAKI are set to perform at Japan Weekend Valencia on November 18 and 19, 2023. If you recall, Kouki dropped some hints about this event during our interview in July, and now it’s time to reveal all the exciting details!
Kouki and HIZAKI are teaming up once more to bring their electrifying performance to Japan Weekend Valencia, the Valencia edition of Spain’s biggest Japanese pop culture event. Get ready for live concerts by Kouki and HIZAKI on both days of the event, where they will perform a session band rendition of D=OUT songs.
Tickets are on sale now for both days of the event—check the details at the bottom of this post. The Kouki and HIZAKI concert is included in the cost of admission. The event organizer recommends selecting the time slot before 13:00.
You might remember the duo’s amazing performance at Nekocon in 2022, where they also treated the audience to this special experience.

About Kouki
Kouki is the vocalist of the Japanese-style visual kei band D=OUT, formed in 2006. The band has toured extensively in Japan, Europe, and Asia.
In addition to his rock band, Kouki, also known as Kouki Hanamizakura, is an accomplished enka performer. He has achieved the number one ranking on the enka song chart in both Japan and France. Kouki is known for playing the Tsugaru shamisen and incorporating traditional Japanese dance elements into his art.

About HIZAKI
Kouki is joined by the renowned guitarist HIZAKI. HIZAKI, the leader and composer of the bands Jupiter and VERSAILLES, is widely recognized for his skill as a guitarist and his commitment to infusing beauty into his music. His popularity extends beyond Japan, as he’s performed extensively overseas, received by adoring fans worldwide.
Like Kouki, HIZAKI also has a successful solo career as HIZAKI grace project. His instrumental album Rosario, featuring only guitars, achieved remarkable sales and received acclaim not only in the metal world but also in various musical genres.
Currently, he’s actively involved in both his bands and his solo project, and he’s also expanded his activities by producing other bands.
