FANTASTIC◇CIRCUS, consisting of vocalist Tsutomu Ishizuki, and guitarists kazuya and SHUN. (THE MICRO HEAD’S 4N’s, OFIAM), will release a retake best-of album TENSEISM BEST SINGLES [1997-2000]. The trio is mainly known for their legendary work in the ’90s visual kei band FANATIC◇CRISIS, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

TENSEISM BEST SINGLES [1997-2000] releases on March 29 featuring FANATIC◇CRISIS songs released from 1997 to 2000.

TENSEISM BEST SINGLES [1997-2000] will be released in a regular edition and Warner Music Store’s limited edition. The former features 13 tracks in total while the latter is LP-sized, contains a 20-page booklet, and has reserved printed autographed copies up until February 24, 2023 (Friday) 23:59 (JST).

Growing in popularity since their early years as an indie band, FANATIC◇CRISIS made their major debut with the single SUPER SOUL in 1997.

With the continued releases of hit songs, they were eventually considered one of the most popular visual kei bands of the ’90s–’00s, among MALICE MIZER, La‘cryma Christi, SHAZNA, forming the so-called “Visual Kei Four Heavenly Kings”.

17 years after their tragic disbandment announcement and final show at Tokyo Bay NK Hall on May 14, 2005, the band announced their return (as FANTASTIC◇CIRCUS) accompanied by a retake best-of album.

FANTASTIC◇CIRCUS will hold nine shows at eight venues through their national tour “-tour THE END OF 30th BOYS 2023-“, running through FANATIC◇CRISIS’ 30th anniversary with full energy.

This announcement led to the band revealing a music video for their absolutely brilliant song ONE-You are the one-(2023). The band perfectly recaptures the essence of the original song while bringing its production to today’s standard.

The big focus here is the band members walking around and performing in the factory complex with vocalist Tsutomu finding and picking up multiple white feathers. Plenty of wide shots take up most of the music video showcasing the scale of the complex and the machinery in the area through a filming drone.

The song previews of TENSEISM BEST SINGLES [1997-2000] sound as brilliant as the originals. The band also previously revealed the music video for Hi no Tori over a year ago which also features on the album.
