Razor’s second single of 2022, CRIES OF ART is due out on October 18, following up on their previous single UNION. The fierce, visually intense music video for CRIES OF ART captures a breathtaking vista as they perform on a cliff.
Such a vista has the band members solemnly look towards the horizon and take in the gloomy but serene atmosphere. You can also see them going all out on a vibrant red carpet not only delivering an uplifting chorus but an unforgettably excellent hook on guitars.
Single CRIES OF ART releases in types A and B. The former contains two songs: the title track CRIES OF ART, and the b-side track Kanojo wa Cleopatra (彼女はクレオパトラ). Type A also includes a DVD with the music video for CRIES OF ART. The latter is CD-only and features CRIES OF ART, Kanojo wa Cleopatra, and a third track LAZY DOLL.
The previews for each song are also out, with the second song Kanojo wa Cleopatra combining Egyptian elements with a heavy rock sound. Meanwhile, the third track LAZY DOLL follows with a piano accompaniment playing throughout.
RAZOR also has artist photos to accompany the single’s release with their outfits fusing denim, leather, chains, and studs.
