DEXCORE uploaded the music video for their song “20”, leading up to the release of their first mini-album “-18-“. “-18-” was released on December 22.
A cool synthesizer riff introduces the track “20”. Then, the band begins their passionate rooftop performance overlooking a nighttime cityscape. That rich electronic melody creates a serene atmosphere, driving the song through the verses and bridge.
These serene moments allow bassist kai to fully take the spotlight. In contrast, guitarist yumeto’s guitar work is quiet but vital to the progression and structure of the song.
The song “20” demonstrates that DEXCORE is more than their breakdowns, creating beautiful and piercing melodies.
During the song’s glitchier sections, we catch glimpses of a red and black moving eyeball. This eyeball is reminiscent of the jacket art for both the regular and “EXTRA” editions of “-18-“, seen below.

DEXCORE also confirmed that its three hard-hitting singles released in 2021 would make a return alongside newer songs in the mini-album “-18-“. While the regular edition is CD only, the “-EXTRA-” edition also includes a DVD with four music videos and a making-of. So far, DEXCORE confirmed that the music video for “20” and its making-of will be included on the DVD.
The band uploaded previews of each song to entice fans with what they can expect.
