DIR EN GREY announced an upcoming music video collection titled Average Psycho 3, due out early next year. They announced it after rocking Zepp Haneda in Tokyo for two consecutive nights during their Japan-wide tour DESPERATE.
Average Psycho 3 is DIR EN GREY’s first music video collection in over six years. Its predecessor Average Psycho 2 contained uncut, unrestricted versions of their more gristly music videos, from The Agitated Screams of Magotts to Revelation of Mankind.
Since releasing the single Utafumi in 2016, the band created six gut-punching music videos such as Oboro, Ochita koto no aru sora, The World of Mercy, and Ningen wo Kaburu. The videos for Ochita koto no aru sora and The World of Mercy have never been released in full.
