Matenrou Opera announce their new single Owaranu Namida no Umi de. Translating into a sorrowfully named song, “In the Sea of Endless Tears”. The single will be available to purchase from August 25.
Owaranu Namida no Umi de will be released in the singular regular edition containing a three-track CD, including; the title track, B-side track Mahiru no Tsuki, along with its instrumental version. A fan club limited edition is also available from the official fan club shop only; which supplies the added bonus of a commemorative T-shirt for the release. Both editions open for preorders on August 1.
For this release, Matenrou Opera welcomed the guest guitarist, Yusuke Hiraga, for the recording of the single. Yusuke is a member of the progressive math-metalcore band, Arise in Stability, and a former member of BABYMETAL’s live musicians, Kami Band—along with work in composing and arranging. He has been providing support for the band and this single after the unfortunate departure of guitarist, JaY, from Matenrou Opera at the end of last year.
Guest guitarist, Yusuke Hiraga.Where should one appropriately ponder such deep sorrowful emotions of this release? Well, an equally deep, dark, and slightly damp cave, of course! Which is exactly where the band’s new visual concept and look have taken them. Matenrou Opera have captured this single’s emotions in their all-black attire and solum expressions while shrowded in the darkness of a shoreside cave.
