Before MUCC lets their drummer SATOchi run free and retire as a professional drummer after 23 years of service, they’ve announced on their official site that BEST ALBUM “Myojyo” will come out on April 21, 2021.

With 16 tracks total, four of the songs have been newly re-recorded for this release in honor of the very last album with the same line-up since 1999. All songs chosen have been worked by SATOchi from lyrics to composition, and the lyrics of the last track titled Myojyo have been written by all four members.

The limited-editions available on DVD and Blu-ray include individual interview videos of members looking back fondly on the history of MUCC and first press editions include one out of 10 illustrated cards that have been drawn by SATOchi. What a talented guy.
