It’s that time of year we’ve all been waiting for to bag a bargain, so what does CDJapan have in store for us? They’ve started their Black Friday sale already, so we rummaged the pile of discounted goodies in the search for gold nuggets.
Starting with music releases, there aren’t too many, but we’d highlight the limited edition of KAMIJO’s Symbol of The Dragon that comes in a hardback case, CRYSTAL LAKE’s Watch Me Burn, and also SCANDAL’s Kiss from the darkness that comes with the T-shirt. There are a few recent releases from our staple visual kei bands including NIGHTMARE, David, Royz as well as SID, so hurry before those disappear, as most of these are 50% off.
Out of curiosity, we wondered what was the cheapest item in the sale as they claim some things are 95% off. Before you get too excited, it turns out to be a 100 yen hair scrunchy. Feeling slightly disappointed, we moved on to check for the most expensive product, and it is the DARK SOULS TRILOGY BOX for PlayStation 4. You can get your hands on this two-year-old release at a cool 34,860 yen, discounted from the original 49,800 yen. We personally thought the 150 yen My Melody Daruma figure trumps both of these in terms of a great bargain though. Look at that power pose. There’s a matching friend if you’d like to get the set.
If you’re looking for something to do during slow days, there are a few 1/144 or 1/100 scale Gundam models you could try building. Other than that, we would recommend checking the clothing section as there are some interesting pieces by SEX POT ReVeNGE and Deorart floating around, so take a look.
