We saw MAKE MY DAY hang out on zoom a couple of times during the summer lockdown, but they have gathered back together at the studio and left us a message. We even find out how old drummer HAL was five years ago in this exclusive video message, so let’s take a look.
It’s great to see that they are looking energetic and well! We bet it feels amazing to be back in the studio and hope to see them on stage soon. Thanks for the message MAKE MY DAY, you have made our day.
To quickly catch up on MAKE MY DAY’s activities, they most recently participated in SHIBUYA CYCLONE’s compilation album, KEEP ON ROLLIN’ Tracks. This 31-track album featuring metalcore and alternative acts such as Paledusk, FOAD, and HONE YOUR SENSE came out in May, with MAKE MY DAY’s contribution of WTF sitting at track seven. The physical copy is completely sold out online and it’s not available on any streaming platforms (at the time of writing), so it’s a highly elusive release and track. If you managed to get your hands on this album, leave a message in the comments and let us know what you think of it.
While we’re waiting around, take a look at vocalist ISAM’s personal YouTube channel. He started it a few months ago and goes around documenting random shenanigans in his everyday life such as playing old school Mario Kart in a kid’s paddling pool, getting his blue hair retouched, and becoming a burger connoisseur.
