Matenrou Opera (摩天楼オペラ) is in the early stages of developing a new EP titled Chronos, scheduled to arrive on April 22. In addition to that, more details of the previously disclosed DVD and Blu-ray of the HUMAN DIGNITY TOUR has been revealed.
The EP Chronos will be Matenrou Opera’s first release since Human Dignity dropped in February 2019. Cover art and song titles are still up in the air, however, the band plans to record five tracks for the EP and release it in regular and limited edition, with the latter featuring two CDs. Then the band will embark on a 19-stop one-man tour named after the EP’s namesake, Chronos TOUR 2020, on May 6 with the grand finale taking place on July 24 at Shinjuku BLAZE.
Fans can also turn their living rooms into a live house on March 11, with Matenrou Opera turning the live experience of HUMAN DIGNITY TOUR FINAL into an audiovisual work! Besides the reveal of the cover art and setlist which you can find below, the first press bonus content has also been disclosed. The Blu-ray edition comes with slipcase packaging, special photo book, and a sticker, while the DVD edition includes sticker(s).
