Kiryu is well and truly set for the release of single Kachou Fugetsu, out on November 13, and leading on from their initial announcement the band has now uploaded the music video for it!
The visuals channel the doom and gloom of stormy weather with birds flying around frantically in stormy weather as lightning strikes and you can see that theme running throughout. We see flashing lights, a misty film over the screen, clouds rolling in, a shaky camera all contributing to the eerie composition.
In this aspect, an unsettling violin intro starts up the song before hitting full speed ahead as the instrumentation comes in, taking us through bells, hauntingly high pitched vocals, the long vibrato notes of a feminine-sounding vocalist, and uneasy piano playing. Takemasa Kujou contributes to this as he plays the higher notes on the guitar.
