UVERworld will release single ROB THE FRONTIER on October 16 and its title-track will serve as the opening theme of The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods, otherwise known as Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin, the third season to the ever-popular anime. It will also hit stores in three editions! You can already hear a short preview of it in the anime trailer below, at 0:48:
It’s been confirmed that the regular edition will have the title-track ROB THE FRONTIER, three live songs from their Okinawa MUSIC TOWN OTO-ICHIBA performance on June 6, 2019, consisting of Touch off, Ø choir, and ConneQt, along with the instrumental for the title-track.
The limited edition comes with an additional CD adding EMPTY96, and Arubeki Katachi from that same performance. It also features two remixed tracks with ODD FUTURE worked on by R3HAB, and EDEN e by DJ WHITE SHADOW. The limited pressing edition contains all the tracks the regular does but adds a short anime version for ROB THE FRONTIER.
UVERworld is also scheduled to perform at Tokyo Dome in December which is included in their arena tour to be held in five cities throughout Japan. Their highly-anticipated 10th album is also in the works and we can hopefully expect to hear more about it in the next few months!
Moreover, vocalist TAKUYA has opened up a limited-time Instagram account that has been up since May 1 and will close on December 21, his birthday. A common theme in his videos there is the man himself being involved in activity, such as trying to figure out a rubix cube, drinking with his friends, and throwing ball with a staff member before rushing and jumping on stage. It’s a lot of fun to watch!
