Royz conveys own interpretation of djent in “IGNITE” music video

Royz is still weeks off from releasing single IGNITE on May 1 and it even saw the band revealing artist photos for it way ahead of time, however, they have now uploaded its respective music video!

The scenery before them is a torchlit cave where they start on a gloomy note before chugging in with the djent-y riffs. What ensues after are a series of growls, bass slaps, and a ruff and ready guitar riff during the breakdown where the drums really shine through.

The visual effects are shaky, hazy, and distorted, and are created by the use of static alongside an old school 3D effect. During these moments, the screen turns red or black and white, making it that much more effective in its execution. There is also a lot of split-screen action that changes things up a bit from the usual!
