Anisong singer-songwriter ZAQ, pronounced za-ku, will release her new single Sora no Ne on January 23! This features title track Sora no ne which will be the opening theme for upcoming anime The Kotobuki Squadron in The Wilderness (Kouya no Kotabuki Hikoutai) airing on January 13. Then second track Kaze no Wa takes the form of a theme song for the anime’s RPG mobile game The Kotobuki Squadron in The Wilderness: Ozora no Take Off Girls. Both will be accompanied by their respective instrumentals so you better be ready to dance and sing your heart out!
That’s not all however as the music video for Sora no Ne has now been released, revealing the entirety of the song! This sees ZAQ take a summery stroll as she sings the awesome jazzy number and mimics playing the piano in the air. There’s barely a cloud to be seen in the sky and that sets the mood as you can see in her smile, style, and dancing.
ZAQ is no stranger to anime as she’s written character song lyrics, created music and worked as an arranger on The Future Diary (Mirai Nikki). She also made her major debut as an artist in October 2012 with Sparkling Daydream, the opening theme song for anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. She went on to provide opening themes for anime such as Trinity Seven, Concrete Revolutio: Superhuman Phantasmagoria, and Classroom of the Elite.
