FIXER shocked us with unexpected news last week. On the group’s Twitter and YouTube pages, a video was uploaded announcing one last tour and two last albums, which could only mean the band has decided to disband.
According to FIXER’s official LINE blog, vocalist Jey has made the choice to depart from the band for personal reasons. This was then followed by the rest of the group agreeing to put an end to their activities and go their separate ways.
The final tour, titled “MEMENTO MORI”, will begin on January 7 of 2019 and run through January 31, where FIXER will have their final performance at Takadanobaba AREA.
In addition, FIXER will release two last albums. The first album mentioned in the video above will be the band’s second full album titled FIXER II. The second mentioned release is a best-of album called ERs. The tracks and release date are currently unknown, but we will keep you updated when new information arises.
What are your thoughts on this sudden news? Let’s wish FIXER a strong finish and hope for the best for their future activities.
