The recent earthquake that happened in Hokkaido, Japan, devastated the homes and lives of those residing in the area and put the country to a standstill. According to the Guardian Newspaper “residents in Sapporo were shaken from their beds when the magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck at 3.08am. At least seven people were confirmed dead and around 30 people were unaccounted for.”
YOSHIKI has donated 10 million yen to the areas affected by the Hokkaido Eastern Iburi earthquake after receiving the news of the large-scale damage on September 6 following Typhoon Jebi two days earlier on September 4.
I recently learned of the typhoon and earthquake in Japan through the American news. I’m praying for everyone’s safety, and that there can be a swift recovery. My prayers go out to all those who are affected by typhoon and earthquake in Japan.
