There’s still some time before the release of Aimer’s 15th single Black Bird—or rather “Black Bird / Tiny Dancers / Omoide wa Kirei de” which is its full release name. But for those who can’t wait for the official release date which is set for September 5, you can get your digital hands on the third track Omoide wa Kirei de on iTunes today! To address a little misleading nitpick, while the release title has three songs listed, you can expect to see four different songs included, with the fourth song being an “Evergreen ver.” (an alternative version) of the previously released song, Kyoukara Omoide, a song linked to the story in Omoide wa Kirei de.
At this point, you might be thinking that the song name Omoide wa Kirei de rings a bell, that is because we did indeed explore this song back in June already, where Aimer showed off almost three minutes of the song, even though it was labeled as a “short version”. This is definitely one of her better works, so if you’re into the tender side of Aimer, go get it now! Or maybe have a listen to the short version before giving in…
If you weren’t sold already, the first listed song Black Bird also made its way out in the public, through the trailer of the live-action movie Kasane where Black Bird is featured as the main theme song.
