Two female bands from Japan, power metal LOVEBITES and all-rapping electronic pop duo FEMM will be performing at The Underworld, Camden on Monday, November 27, 2017. It is an unusual to mix metal with pop in one event, but we’re rooting for this all-female lineup to hopefully be the first of many to come! You can purchase tickets on The Underworld website and hit attending out the Facebook event if you’re thinking to go.
Both bands will also be performing at Hyper Japan on November 25–26 so you can get your first-dose at London’s biggest Japanese cultural convention.
LOVEBITES’ debut EP and album have received praise from members of Megadeth, Alice Cooper and Stratovarius, so check out their Shadowmaker video where they make their guitars sing below:
FEMM, an electronic rap and dance duo consisting of sentient mannequins RiRi and Lula, sent from the year 20XX, New-Tokyo, were rated “One to watch” by Huffington Post and Artist of the Week by MTV IGGY. The girls play a lot of attention to their visuals and have a huge range of styles to please and delight. To see their full breadth of styles we recommend for you to check their YouTube.
