Ling Tosite Sigure has been on the silent side these past few years, with their last release being the mini-album es or s back in 2015. This was mostly because of the members’ solo projects: vocalist TK’s successful solo career as TK from Ling tosite sigure, bassist 345’s second band, geek sleep sheep, with L’arc~en~ciel’s Yukihiro, and drummer Pierre Nakano’s solo project. However, the band is back to bring some of that Ling Tosite Sigure goodness, with a new single out in 10 days! The single is titled DIE meets HARD, and will go on sale August 23.
This new single has a new teaser video from the title track of the same name, and despite the fact that it’s only 15 seconds long, we can already tell it’s going to be another good one. Check it out below. This new song is also being used as the opening theme for the drama “Shimokitazawa Die Hard”, which is already on its fifth episode.
How long have you been waiting for a Ling Tosite Sigure release? It feels like it’s been forever since their last release, so this is something to really look forward to. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that this year marks the band’s 15th anniversary together as a band, so congratulations on such a long journey!
