EGOIST is back this year again with a new single Eiyu Unmei no Uta, just as expected by the yearly release pattern we’ve seen so far! And now, you’re able to preorder their masterpiece to come!
This time around their upcoming single Eiyu Unmei no Uta can be found as the opening song for the praised anime series “Fate”, specifically Fate/Apocrypha which is based on the light novel by the same name. Looking back again at the group’s release pattern, none of the previous works exceeded two release editions, and for that reason, EGOIST seems to be actively promoting the fact that three editions have been prepared for this single. The main difference here comes with the limited anime edition where artwork illustration is provided by Ototsugu KONOE, illustrator of the Fate/Apocrypha light novel. Normally all EGOIST artwork are dominated by the group’s illustrator called redjuice, but this time looks to be an exception, although this is not the first time we see this happening.
Because of the anime not being broadcasted until July, Eiyu Unmei no Uta will have to wait until August 16 to see the light of the day. Many times anime music won’t release until a month or two has passed.
Fate/Apocrypha synopsis:
In the city of Trifas, two factions will fight for the control of the sacred relic, each of them possessing their own team of seven Servants : the Black Faction whose members are part of Yggdmillennia, protecting the Grail, and the Red Faction whose members were sent by the Mage’s Association, trying to take the Grail back. For an event of this scale, the Grail itself summons its own Servant, the holy Ruler, to oversee the conflict.
