lynch. reveal tracklist and an all-star cast of bassists to feature on their upcoming “SINNERS-EP”

We already knew that bassist Akinori left lynch. at the end of 2016 due to his arrest, but it was unknown if he would be replaced or not as they started work on SINNERS-EP, out May 31. This uncertainty has now been cleared up as the band have announced that each song, except for the instrumental, will feature a legendary lineup of bassists!

Starting from first to last, it starts with J from the legendary LUNA SEA who will lend his basslines to TRIGGER, followed by Hitoki of former Kuroyume, currently in Creature Creature taking up BLACK OUT DESTROY. Next is T$UYO$HI of the disbanded Pay money To my Pain illustrating his talents on KALEIDO, YOSHIHIRO YASUI of OUTRAGE on DIES IRAE and Yukke of MUCC performing on SORROW.

All of these highly prolific bassists who are in no doubt on the top of their game have different playing styles, so this may well be a very interesting release from lynch.. Maybe it will allow the band to experiment while playing into each individual’s strengths, or is that wishful thinking and they’ll continue on as normal? Let’s wait and see, shall we?
