SuG came up with some questionable content during their hour-long online live broadcast, where an audience of twelve thousand tuned in accompanied by eight thousand comments. They promoted their new song KILL KILL by collecting responses on “whom I would like to kill”, even going as far as having a hashtag for it which managed to trend on twitter over the Olympics in Rio.
This song will feature on their second major mini-album titled SHUDDUP, to be released on November 2 and will have a music video produced by Sebastian Masuda, founder of clothing brand 6%DOKIDOKI who also worked on the music video for Kyaru Pamyu Pamyu’s most famous song, PONPONPON.
It seems that this will contrast their first mini-album, VIRGIN, as the CD jacket illustration has a skeleton’s right hand with the middle finger up indicating concepts such as “antithesis” and “anarchism”. Seven tracks total have been confirmed, though the titles have yet to be revealed. However, it is available for pre-order. We’ll update you with more details as they emerge, so check back for more.
In addition, they have also revealed “SuG HALLOWEEN PARTY 2016” which is held every October 15. This year’s visitors are encouraged to join the party with their costumes on, as those wearing one will receive a free drink.
