Matenrou Opera (摩天楼オペラ) will release a new mini-album titled PHOENIX RISING on October 19!
Today the band unveiled their new look, the tracklist and the cover art, which is a portrait of the members and resembles a painting. It looks different in an interesting way, given its title. As for the CD, it will feature six brand new tracks and costs 2200 yen after tax. As you may already known, Anzi took his leave from the band in July, therefore guitarist Leda of FAR EAST DIZAIN will be filling in the guitar part as support on the mini-album. Furthermore the band will go on a corresponding tour in November in order to promote the release. No information on who will be their touring guitarist has been confirmed as of this moment. So be on the look out for more updates.
Their new (and very cool) look is quite a contrast compared to their previous ones, which were vibrant with colors and textures. This time the monochrome photography makes it impossible to see every true color, but if that cover art is any indication of the truth, then their clothes are mostly black and the frontman’s hair is an even deeper purple now.
