Anyone who is attending this year’s Japan Expo in Paris need to look out for Psycho le Cému, for they will be making an appearance in it! The unique band is this year’s Musical Guest of Honor, and as such, they are set to be on all four days the expo lasts. During these four days, not only will you get to watch them perform live, you’ll also be able to attend a meet & greet, an autograph event, and if you decide to pay some more, even hang out with them!
For anyone who might not know, Psycho le Cému is a band that have made their mark in the visual kei scene ever since their beginnings back in 1999 for their anime and fantasy approach with their costumes, gaining a considerable amount of otaku fans. Their live shows are not only about playing music, but also about performing skits and putting on an entertaining show on stage. Unfortunately, the band experienced some troubles along the way. Due to the arrest of vocalist DAISHI back in 2005, the band entered what seemed to be a permanent hiatus. The members went on to form side projects and other bands like Mix Speakers Inc., which is quite a popular band today. However, last year, the band surprised everyone with the announcement of a new single release, bringing joy and happiness to many fans who had not heard of the band in ten years.
The Japan Expo in Paris will be held from July 7-10, so it is still a little less than two months before the event happens, giving people from France and neighboring countries a chance to buy tickets for the event! Don’t let this opportunity pass by! You can catch all the details on the expo on their official website.
