Last week we talked about JURY BLACK featuring the drapey men’s apparel brand from Shibuya, with the dark mysterious style. This week we will like to show you nittu’s (ニーツ) 2016-2017 collection with the theme of shino temples.
This fashion brand is designed by Niitsu brothers to promote the idea of a “modern kimono” and the geometry of the clothing structure is based on Japanese clothes which are often not simple. They try and incorporated the idea of “everyday” in the design, in a series of convenience store bag, the bottom of the electric plug and even cardboard motifs.
The printing plates for the designs are hand carved then printed so each one is irregular and unique. Being tired of fast fashion, niitsu aims to design clothes which are original, sustainable and satisfying. Check out their latest collection which features a really beautiful guitar below:
