New year means a new start, and guitarist SUGIZO (LUNA SEA and X JAPAN) modelled for a new collective of photographs. This photoshoot has been shot by renowned photographer Susumu Miyawaki, using the world’s highest quality camera “Phase One XF”.
This shoot was executed as a public event with the Danish company, Phase One, who produces high-performance cameras “Phase One XF”. This event invites fans who took part in a lottery to be invited to watch this incredible event take place.

This photoshoot attempts to capture the “delicate” “dynamism” “clear”, and “what is reminiscent of future dimension” with the use of BB bullets and haunting backdrop which fall around SUGIZO, creating a space-like image. Thanks to the high-speed camera, these small pellets were captures in the final image as seen above.
