girugamesh’s “chimera” Music Video! Old School Fans Have Been Waiting for This!

Two more days until girugmesh’s new album chimera hits the market, and what better way is there to hype up for the new release, than checking out the newly published music video of the title track!

Yesterday, girugamesh teased the new music video with a mysterious screenshot on their Twitter, with the caption:

And right on time, as the clock hit 12:00 noon in Japan, the band unleashed the beast! Not only does the new music video offer pleasingly scary visuals to the eyes, but also a fantastic song to satisfy your other senses!

girugmesh managed to capture, and balance their older heavy style, mashed with their modern sound. This is really a release the old school fans of girugamesh have been waiting for! Way better than I expected it to be! The video might also take you back in your memory line, back when they released the music video Owari to mirai, as it looks like they’re filmed on the same location, if we’re not mistaking.

The new mini-album will officially be released in Japan on January 20, and in Europe on February 5 via GAN-SHIN Records‘ outlets.

Update: The European edition will offer all the original tracks from gravitation (not remixed), while the Japanese versions will include a remixed track.
