RE:RE is an old but gold track from ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION’s Sol-fa album. This was released back in 2004 which means this track is almost 12 years old, but animation company has picked it back up to be the opening theme for new anime ERASED.
ERASED is the English name for Japanese Manga turned anime BokuMachi, short for “Boku dake ga Inai Machi” (僕だけがいない街). The manga is written by Kei Sanbe, now an anime produced by KADOKAWA.
The story follows Satoru Fujinuma who is a struggling manga artist with the ability to turn back time and prevent deaths. When his mother is killed, Satoru turns back time to solve this mystery of her death. Instead, things take a different turn and he ends up back in is elementary school, just before the disappearance of his classmate Kayo.
