X Japan seems to finally be ready for that much anticipated return! Drummer Yoshiki has announced recently that the band will embark on a new world tour, as well as the release of the first single from their all-new album slated to release on March of next year. This new single, their first one since Jade back in 2011, will release on October 23. No other information has been released regarding the single.
In regards to the band’s new world tour, we do have some information to share with you all. The band will begin with a small Japan tour, something they haven’t done in over 20 years, starting on December 2 through December 17, with a total of seven performances over five cities. Furthermore, the band also revealed some countries the band plan to visit during their world tour. So far, only a tour around the U.S., as well as a live in London have been confirmed. In other news, X Japan recently also won Loudwire‘s tournament for best live band, beating worldwide famous bands such as Pearl Jam, Iron Maiden, and Tool.
