On April 3, AiNA THE END released the music video of Luminous, the 29th opening theme of the anime One Piece. The song is already available on major digital platforms.
The music video showcases a dance led by AiNA THE END, who also co-directed the choreography. At the start, she wakes up in a luxury hotel, spreading positive energy among the staff. Supported by her dazzling voice, AiNA THE END builds up the energy until it reaches the climax with a choral dance with all the crew.
Luminous‘s narrative pairs the lighthearted dance with a story about making a steady effort to reach your goals. Co-written by AiNA THE END and Shin Sakiura, the lyrics encourage us to not hesitate in our journey and face the hurdles with a smile.
Blended with the optimistic outlook of the future, the song also reflects on the value of our past hardships and how they shape who we are today. Balancing these two concepts, Luminous celebrates the long journey of One Piece story while reminding the audience there’s still a bright future ahead.
