Back in March, Petit Brabancon offered concertgoers a preview of their single haunted house during their tour, distributing access with a privileged QR code. As of April 21, the track has been released digitally worldwide, making it accessible to all fans.

As previously noted, haunted house was composed by drummer yukihiro. It’s no secret that yukihiro is a fan of electronic music; after all, we clocked him wearing a T-shirt featuring the German experimental band Einstürzende Neubauten in the music video for Vendetta. This taste most likely brought the EBM, synthpop, and industrial edge to his compositions such as a humble border and surely.

With haunted house, those electronic influences come into the forefront, aligning with the band’s harsh, live performance-driven sound. The track meshes aggressive vocals and guitar work with a driving, dance floor-stomping rhythm. It feels nostalgic but new, reminding us of bands like KMFDM, with a fresh perspective.
