On March 26, Kizu (キズ) announced that the upcoming album Gokuraku Yori Gokujo no Ame (極楽より極上の雨) will be postponed once again. The first postponement was announced October 12 of last year and pushed the album out to April 8. The new release date for Gokuraku Yori Gokujo no Ame is now set for August 5.
The bad news was offset with the announcement that two singles, JP:PARASITE and Houou (鳳凰), will be released digitally on April 8. Both tracks were previously available only as live-limited singles and will also appear on the upcoming album. Their digital release is expected to ignite a flame of anticipation among fans ahead of the full album’s release later this year.
Alongside this message came a promotional image showcasing the cover artwork of the two singles:
While the new release date may seem far away, Kizu has thanked fans for their continued support and offered reassurance that extra time will be used to deliver the best possible product. The album description promises Gokuraku Yori Gokujo no Ame will serve as an ambitious culmination of Kizu’s work, both old and new.
As this extra time is used to polish up the new album, Kizu has a wealth of tracks to dive into and revisit. Take a look below for a reminder of the latest music video of the remake of Juusei (銃声):
