After a short cryptic teaser to start the new year, VELHMORA makes their debut with a heavy three-track EP of the same name, released on January 14. A technologically grotesque music video for the track CRPTD was released a day later on January 15, showcasing a visual representation of the world envisioned in their music.
The project is led by guitarist Seiya from THE DESPERADO and formerly DEVILOOF, assisted by vocalist Iesous Roxo from Mexico, of the band Stay Design, marking Seiya’s first international project.
The music video CRPTD, released alongside their first selftitled EP, is loaded with entities thare are half man half machine, creating a horrifying grotesque transhuman imagery. The depiction of this abyssal near-future dystopia unfolds through harsh guitars and inhuman vocals, complemented by symphonic textures that further elevate the post-human theme.
The selftited EP VELHMORA comes with a total of three tracks: CRPTD, Code, and “.bin”. The latter track “.bin” features guest bassist Thomas O’Malley from INGESTED and WORM SHEPHERD.
With the EP VELHMORA and music video for CRPTD finally revealed, we’re excited to see what this tech-fused deathcore project will bring to the world.
