an cafe’s slams in with new single “Atsukunare / Ikirutame no 3 Byo Rule”

New single by an cafe titled “Atsukunare / Ikirutame no 3 Byo Rule” to be out on August 14 in three editions. Check out their mature vampiresque new look which can be found further down the post. This single’s title track features a cover of “Atsukunare” (熱くなれ) by Maki Oguro (大黒摩季) which was released ten years ago in 1996. She will be singing in the chorus of an cafe’s cover so that’s something we’re keen to hear.

Maki Oguro is a popular J-pop singer, and due to her rare public appearances, she was known as a phantom singer. For those who have seen the old anime Slam Dunk, she sang the ending song “Anata Dake Mitsumeteru“.
