Ahead of JROCK NEWS’s first show, “PULSE vol.1 – 10th Anniversary” in August 2025, we caught up with one of our key Japan-based team members who handled much of the event’s heavy lifting. Ultimately, organizing a concert event that featured NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST, GUNGIRE, SLOTHREAT, Dimrays, Mellows, and MAD JAMIE.
We recorded the episode with the goal to drum up some hype, but the hectic schedule and brutal summer heat ultimately delayed the release of this recording.
Rather than scrapping it and throwing it out, we went ahead and decided to push it out. You’ll get an idea of how we made the event come together and our thoughts going into it. It was even more spectacular than we had anticipated, and you should take a look at how it eventually came together, karaoke booth quality and all.
We’ll hype up the artists and the venue so that you can get a feel for who you should try to see when you get the chance to. Hopefully you can join us next time.
